Mary Margaret Gunderson
Mary Margaret Gunderson, 32, died of a stroke on October 5, 1993. She had been prescribed the drug Parlodel for lactation suppression. Her baby, born on September 28, 1993, survives. Her husband brought a lawsuit against Sandoz, the manufacturer of the drug and was awarded nearly $8,000,000.
