Elisha Crews Bryant
Elisha Crews Bryant was seven months pregnant when she went to a hospital in Plant City, Florida in early labor. After being treated with magnesium sulfate, in what turned out to be an overdose, her son, Levi, was born by emergency cesarean section. He was born in poor condition and was struggling to survive in a neonatal intensive care unit in Tampa a month following his birth in late May, 2005.
Elisha Crews Bryant was just 18 years old at the time of her death. She is survived by her daughter Tailor.
