Jennifer Lynn Knutson
On April 3, 1998, Jennifer Lynn Knutson died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange, California of an amniotic fluid embolism. A healthy 36-year-old, her labor with her third child was induced and augmented with Pitocin. After some hours in labor, she suffered an amniotic fluid embolism and died.
Her baby survives, along with her two older children.
